The family-sized patio is at the heart of the garden. It is spanned by a large pergola that provides both shade and privacy. A raised bed with a water spout is sited next to it meaning water falls gently into the reservoir below.
Steps lead up to a raised path bordered by grasses and perennials, and also give access to the garage door. The path leads to a secluded patio inscribed with a phrase meaningful to the owners. Planting in the garden is low maintenance with evergreen structure and interest throughout the year.
The summerhouse makes a lovely focal point at the end of the garden, and extends its season of use. A variety of seats within the garden means it is possible to enjoy either sun or shade depending on your preference.

Pippa incorporated our ideas and hers into a brilliant design. Thanks to her talents and the excellent construction team we now have the most beautiful garden with many attractive features and year round colour. It’s hard to believe how the space has been so totally transformed.
